Experience the Thrill – Simulated Game Days at The North Crawley Estate
Full day: £290 per gun. Evening (2 hours): £190 per gun
Escape to the rolling splendour of the Buckinghamshire countryside and indulge in the quintessentially British sport of shooting – with a twist. At the North Crawley Estate, we’re delighted to introduce our Simulated Game Days, offering all the excitement of a traditional driven shoot, without ruffling a single feather.
Running outside the game season, these splendid days in the field are the perfect way to keep your eye in, your barrels warm, and your spirits high. Expect the same impeccable format as our renowned driven game days – minus the real birds – with clays expertly flung to replicate pheasant, partridge, grouse and duck. The only thing missing is the feathered confusion… no need to call “cock or hen” on this shoot!
It’s the ideal outing for friends, syndicates, corporate groups or sporting teams seeking a cracking day out with proper countryside charm. We’re also proudly championing the next generation of Guns, so if you’re keen to introduce a young shot to the field, this is a perfect, pressure-free way to begin their journey.
Come for the camaraderie, stay for the challenge and enjoy the effortless warmth of a team who pride themselves on top-drawer hospitality - all set within one of Buckinghamshire's most beautiful private estates.
**Introducing our new “Skip-Work-Early” evening clay shoot – the antidote to the 9-to-5 grind. Join us at our elegant country estate between 4:30 and 6:30pm for two glorious hours of fresh air, fine company, and the immensely satisfying crack of clays meeting their match.
You pick the date - we can do it!

About the hosts
The Boswell family and their close-knit estate team will be your hosts, offering genuine warmth, easy charm and the kind of considered hospitality that comes from 250 years of caring for this remarkable place. Their ancestor, Thomas David Boswell - brother of the famed writer James Boswell - first settled on the Estate for its closeness to London and the great road north to Scotland, and today's hosts honour that legacy with a modern, welcoming spirit. Expect an atmosphere that feels relaxed and effortlessly hospitable from the moment your arrive.
Non-shooting guests
Non-shooting guests are very welcome to join the experience. Whether they prefer to soak up the atmosphere, enjoy the hospitality, watch the drives or simply spend a relaxed day on the Estate, they can be fully included in the day's rhythm. It is a wonderfully social experience and non-shooters often enjoy the setting, the camaraderie and the chance to be part of the occasion just as much as those on the peg. Any associated costs to be discussed on a case-by-case basis to ensure the right fit for each group.
