Simulate Driven Game Alongside Our 1st Class Hospitality
PatsonHill Farm is located on the Somerset/Dorset border & we have multiple drives on offer to cater for all shooting abilities.
We operate automatic Bowman traps supplying 6000 clays over 4 drives throughout the day, you will be in pairs with a horn blown in the middle of each drive where you have the opportunity to swap over.
Because of the automatic traps it gives us the ability to fine control flushes to fully replicate being stood on a game drive! This is something we really believe we achieve here on our shoot.
Hospitality
We offer a fantastic range of food & drink throughout the day.
At the end of each drive you get the chance to indulge in the fantastic nibbles that are on offer from Pheasant & sausage rolls, Tandoori Partridge, Pheasant Ragu, Salmon & creme cheese bagels & much more.
Whilst the trappers are getting into position for the next drive you have the opportunity to fully embrace the 1st class hospitality that we have to offer.
Clays
We have a vast array of clay targets.
we aim to replicate a driven game day so all 4 of our drives though out the day all offer different challenges to different abilities to shooting people.
Topography
We have fantastic topography all around the shoot as during the shooting season most of our drives are used for Partridge & Pheasants.
Gun hire & insurance
Currently we do not offer gun hire or insurance for novices.
We can only cater for experienced shots & insurance must be provided by the individual.

We charge an additional £50 per person to enjoy the full day of hospitality along with a 2 course dinner at the end of the day.

4 x 4 vehicles are required.
We do supply a shoot bus that can seat 10 people

First visit to Patson Hill Farm and The Mitre Inn for a team of 10 guns, joining a total team of 16 guns. The host team were very friendly and provided a fabulous day from start to finish. Thanks to Stephen, Sam, Alex & the rest of the Patson Hill Farm team - feedback from the guns can be summarised as "the best SIM day they have been on!" The SIM day provided an excellent array of clays to challenge the most experienced shots, across 4 drives - with a stunning drive to finish on. Alex provided amazing homemade food throughout the day. Some of the guns stayed over at The Mitre Inn and received great hospitality by Steve the landlord. Highly recommended SIM day that we will return to! Thank you Patson Hill Farm team.
