Pull on your breeks and pack your best aim as we put you in front of some challenging birds. At Red House Shoot we offer a fantastic 5 drive simulated game shoot incorporating our: Partridge drive fast and furious just like the real thing. High Pheasant with a twist super high birds climbing out over the wooded valley. Flighting Duck across our flighting pond. We are a 4 peg 8 gun shoot so double gunning with your peg buddy is a great way to get the pulse rate up. Laughter is guaranteed as you poach the bird your neighbour missed! Elevenses style hospitality is included along with refreshments throughout the day. Optional hot food/carvery is available.
Hospitality
Traditional elevenses style consisting of freshly baked goods, sandwiches, pies and cakes. beers gin and soft drinks always available to whet the whistle! along with teas and coffee. Please let us know at time of booking if you have any dietary requirements so we can make sure you are fully catered for. Optional hot meals/carvery can be booked in advance. Bed and breakfast is available in the village for those who would like to make the most of the day.
Topography
Red House shoot is situated on the edge of the North Yorks moors and stretches over 400 acres of mixed woodland with steep valley sides, Arable land, small parcels of woodland, streams and areas of rough grass and blackthorn. undulating ground around our "Burial ground" drives make for super Birds. our pond area makes for a fantastic realistic duck drive.
About the hosts
Both Paul And Alan personally oversee every shoot to ensure guests have the best experience possible. Alan has a keen eye for trap placement ensuring the birds are on all the guns at the right time.
