About the hosts
Boughton, ‘the Montagu property’, is a traditional rural estate in Northamptonshire. Boughton Estate has been in the family since 1528 when it was acquired by Sir Edward Montagu, a direct ancestor of the present Duke of Buccleuch. On the day you will be looked after by George Whittaker. George is a qualified shooting safety officer who has been working on the Estate for a number of years and is highly familiar with all the intricacies of each drive location. George will guide you through each drive and ensure that the shooting is of the highest quality throughout the day.

Mr. Han Van De Braak
This was one of our Syndicate's roaming days and, I think that I can speak for those who attended, it has been an amazing day. Shoot host George Whittaker did us proud. The day started with a (generous) bacon butty and coffee. The first (warm up) drive was straight overs and the last one was the grouse butts. In between plenty of interesting clays flying, resulting in me working my way through just over two slabs. The cartridge shells go to Agri-Cycle for recycling - all very responsible. The day closed with a super meal (beef) and my favourite desert, Eton Mess. I will definitely book another day!
