Hilldrop Simulated Game Shoot

The Roxtons Simulated Game Shoot is based at Hilldrop Farm near the village of Ramsbury in Wiltshire, some 15 minutes from Junction 14 of the M4. Set in the stunning rolling countryside of the Marlborough Downs, the estate's topography lends itself perfectly to game shooting and the same hills and valleys also make it the ideal setting for simulated game.

We have been developing the shoot over the last few years and are confident that we have created an experience with character and humour, which will prove an exciting challenge to 'sharp shooters' and novices alike - in short, a unique event.

The days are designed for up to 18 people with 12 guns as the minimum, however the more guns then the cheaper the day is on a cost per gun basis.

We can arrange the day to suit both experienced and inexperienced guns so that everyone can enjoy the day. For those who haven't shot before, instructors are readily available.

Our days take place between 1 March and 1 August. This is the perfect way to entertain guests or keep your eye in for the season ahead.

The variation in drives is exciting, ranging from high pheasants to hidden grouse butts, with the thrilling vermin drive which never fails to get everyone talking.

A few comments from guns last season:

'It is just so different from anything else out there'

'I came with a preconception that clay shooting is dull - well how wrong I was!!!

'16 strangers arrived and 16 friends left after a day of intense leg-pulling and laughter. Undoubtedly the best corporate event that I have been on'._
